Eucalyptus History
All of the Eucalyptus trees, of which there are 600 or so species, originate from Australia. They have been transplanted to many other warm parts of the world. the leaves of the Tasmanian Blue Gum Eucalyptus Tree contain droplets of essential oil and are considered the most esteemed in healing. This is the only kind used in Oil of Eucalyptus, All Natural Healing. Clinical studies on the antiseptic and bacterial properties trace back to 1788. First published works by Drs. Colez (1870), Faust and Homeyer (1874) document its remarkable effectiveness in treating conditions such as bronchitis, flu, asthma, and coughs. Modern researchers now refer to the Eucalyptus tree as Nature's Tree of Life.
